MEN ARE FALLING SHORT OF THEIR GOD-GIVEN ROLES.

Men aren’t the spiritual leaders of their homes. They aren’t making a Kingdom difference in their workplaces. They are absent from the important work of their church. The question is, why? The reason men aren’t living a more authentic faith is simple: they have yet to embrace the call to real discipleship.
  • What if men were discipled in a format that was designed for them, not women or children?
  • What if men were both challenged and equipped to relentlessly pursue God?
  • What if men were given a plan that leveraged the energy of large events to empower small group discipleship?

WHAT WE ARE TEACHING

AUGUST
A  SERIES OF GOD'S PROMISES

SERIES OVERVIEW:
When God first created the world, it was paradise! But it's not always easy for us to imagine a perfect world where nothing needs to be fixed — especially when we hear sad or scary news about the world we live in today. But even though the world today isn't exactly perfect, there's good news! Even though things sometimes go wrong, God's promises can always be trusted. As kids learn about famous figures from Genesis in this series, they will be reminded of God's faithfulness through the promises that were made to them, like God's promises to fix what was broken and to always show us mercy, and that, even though they might sometimes take time to be fulfilled, God keeps all promises – both the promises God made for now and the promises God made for later.

SEPTEMBER
A  SERIES ON Moses & The Exodus

SERIES OVERVIEW:
An important part of childhood is learning which grown-ups you can trust. The very first phone number most kids tend to learn is an emergency number because it's important to know who to call when we need help! In this series, we'll help kids see that they can always call on God for the things they need. As kids hear the story of Israel escaping slavery in Egypt (and what happened afterward), they'll discover that God helps us when we're helpless, helps us in our weakness, helps us when we're in trouble, and will even help us help others. God is the help we need always!

OCTOBER
A SERIES ON THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

SERIES OVERVIEW:
Have you ever been on a road trip? When we think of road trips, we might think of gas station snacks, singing along to our favorite songs, and taking in the sights — but when the Israelites went on a "road trip" of their own through the wilderness, it was a little less glamorous. Okay, it was a lot less glamorous. In this series, we'll introduce kids to some of God's "rules of the road," from Moses and the ten commandments all the way to what Jesus called the Greatest Commandment — to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Together, we'll discover that we can love God and others by putting God first, worshiping God, loving our families, and loving everyone.

WHAT WE ARE TEACHING

AUGUST
A 3-WEEK SERIES FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT & JOHN ON AUTHORITY

SERIES OVERVIEW:
Have you ever wished you had a little bit more power — or influence — or control? Whether you dream about ruling the world or just wish you could get a little respect once in a while, the desire to be in charge is something we’ve all experienced. But in this 3-week series, we’ll hear about a few kings from the Bible whose stories show us power isn’t always easy to yield. Through their failures and successes, we’ll discover that when you make mistakes, God can help make things right; when you think you know best, be humble instead; when you’re not sure who to listen to, ask God for guidance.

SEPTEMBER

A 3-WEEK SERIES FROM THE BOOK OF JAMES ON LOVING OTHERS:

SERIES OVERVIEW:
When Jesus was on earth, he had a lot to say about love, but not everyone loved him. Instead, Jesus’ opponents hated him, attacked him, and saw him as extreme — dangerous — revolutionary — a radical. And they had a point! The things Jesus taught about loving God and loving others challenged the status quo and changed the world forever. That’s pretty radical. In this 3-week series from the book of James, we’ll look at four ways Jesus invites us to love according to his revolutionary example. These ideas might seem simple, but when we choose to listen more than we speak, refuse to play favorites, and watch our words,  we’ll see just how radical Jesus’ teachings really are.

OCTOBER

A 3-WEEK SERIES FROM FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT ON DOUBT & QUESTIONS:

SERIES OVERVIEW:
Let’s face it, life isn’t easy. In times of loss, grief, pain, or doubt, it’s normal to have questions — and it’s okay to ask them. If you’ve ever tried to make sense of your circumstances, or wished life didn’t have to hurt so much, or wondered why God won’t fix what you’re going through, you’re not alone. In this 3-week series, we’ll hear about a few people from Scripture who know exactly what it’s like. With Esther, David, Peter, Amos, and John, we’ll explore hard questions you thought you weren’t allowed to ask, like “When people are hurting, where is God? When I’m hurting, does God leave me? If God is good, why do bad things happen?
